We are excited to announce the development of MyIntealth, a new online environment for services offered by Intealth and its members, ECFMG and FAIMER. The result of a multi-year effort, MyIntealth will replace many of our older web-based applications and paper-based requests, streamlining access to our services and providing a common user experience. MyIntealth reflects the efficient integration and enhanced service that are at the heart of our Intealth identity .
MyIntealth represents a complete transformation of our online services and will result in significant changes. Please monitor this webpage for updates to help ensure a smooth transition and to minimize interruptions in service.
MyIntealth is a new online environment for accessing services offered by Intealth and its members, ECFMG and FAIMER. MyIntealth will consist of a portal for applicants (such as international medical graduates pursuing ECFMG Certification and ECFMG J-1 visa sponsorship) and a portal for entities (organizations, such as medical schools, graduate medical education programs, and medical regulatory agencies) that use our services. It also will include a number of related web-based applications for certain services. Using the MyIntealth environment, users will be able to establish and maintain accounts, request services, manage payments, and retrieve important messages.
MyIntealth will launch during the second half of 2023. In the coming months, we will provide more detailed information on what to expect prior to, during, and after launch. This information will include how to prepare in order to help ensure a smooth transition and to minimize interruptions in service.
MyIntealth will replace:
and more.
MyIntealth represents a complete transformation of our online services and will result in significant changes. These changes include, but are not limited to:
These changes will impact individual users and users from entities (e.g., institutions such as medical schools and medical regulatory authorities).
Please monitor this webpage for the latest information. Additional information for each service will be provided as it becomes available.
The services that will transition to MyIntealth in the second half of 2023 include, but are not limited to:
After launch, the MyIntealth environment will continue to evolve, incorporating additional services offered by Intealth and its members. As services are incorporated into MyIntealth, all users (individual and entity users) will access these services through MyIntealth.
As we prepare for launch, there will be a period of time during which many of our current systems will be unavailable, resulting in a pause in our ability to provide services. This pause in services will take place prior to launch and will allow us to migrate existing user accounts to MyIntealth accurately and efficiently.
During the pause, we will be unable to accept and process applications and service requests for most services. Additionally, users will be unable to check and update account information, to make payments, and to track the status of applications and other service requests.
We are in the process of estimating the length of this pause. When the length and dates have been determined, we will share this information to help ensure that users have adequate time to plan and to finalize service requests before launch.
We recognize the impact that this pause will have on those who rely on our services. We are committed to keeping the pause as brief as possible and to minimizing interruptions for our stakeholders.
To establish a MyIntealth account, new users will create a user ID and password, enter required biographic information, and complete any steps required by Intealth to verify their identity. Once the account is established, users will receive their MyIntealth ID and will be able to access services for which they are eligible.
If you already use ECFMG’s online services, we will migrate your existing account information to MyIntealth prior to launch. Once MyIntealth launches, we will send existing users an e-mail with instructions for activating their MyIntealth account. Once your existing account is activated, you will be able to access services for which you are eligible.
About Identity Verification
Intealth’s requirements for verifying the identity of those who use its services protect the integrity of our processes as well as the privacy of our users.
Consistent with current practice, applicants for services (such as ECFMG Certification) will be required to have their identity verified via notarization. Users from entities (such as medical schools) may require authorization from entity officials in order to use MyIntealth.
To access MyIntealth, you will need a user ID and a password. The user ID will consist of your e-mail address and must be unique, i.e., you cannot share an e-mail address with another MyIntealth user. You also will be required to create a password. You will use the same user ID and password to access all services in the MyIntealth environment.
Additionally, each user will be assigned a MyIntealth ID, a unique 9-digit number that will be used to identify users across our programs and services. Your MyIntealth ID will be issued once you establish your MyIntealth account. Once issued, you should use your MyIntealth ID consistently when contacting us by e-mail or phone for assistance.
If you already use ECFMG’s online services, please note that:
In support of IMGs pursuing ECFMG Certification and U.S. GME, we work with other organizations to provide essential services. MyIntealth will continue to support the ID numbers used by these other organizations. Specifically:
Although these additional ID numbers will be associated with the applicant’s MyIntealth account, the MyIntealth ID will be the applicant’s primary ID number and should be used when communicating with us.
We will provide more detailed information as it becomes available. Please monitor this webpage for the latest information.
